Great to meet you!

A native New Englander, I've been in Atlanta GA for half of my years. I'm an animal lover and you'll inevitable see or hear one of my dogs in any given session.

My approach is warm, engaged, candid, and occasionally irreverent. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe enough to be honest, comfortable enough to laugh, and supported enough to look at the things you might rather avoid. I won’t judge you for your struggles, your coping mechanisms, or the ways you’ve learned to survive. I will, however, gently challenge you when I think you’re getting in your own way. Compassion and accountability can absolutely coexist.

My approach to therapy

I work with people navigating anxiety, relationship struggles, trauma, life transitions, burnout, self-esteem, and the everyday challenges of being a human with a brain that sometimes seems to have other plans. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you stuck, understand how your experiences have shaped you, and develop practical tools to help you move forward.

My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), polyvagal theory, behavioral activation, and executive functioning strategies. That means our work can include understanding your nervous system, untangling unhelpful thought patterns, building emotional regulation skills, taking action when motivation is nowhere to be found, and learning to respond to yourself with more flexibility and compassion.

Therapy with me isn’t about becoming a perfectly optimized, endlessly productive, never-triggered version of yourself. (Honestly, that sounds exhausting.) It’s about understanding yourself more deeply, building relationships that feel healthier, getting unstuck from patterns that no longer serve you, and creating a life that feels more like your own.

What you can expect from me

You don’t have to show up to therapy with a perfectly organized list of problems, a five-year plan, or even the right words to explain what’s going on. You can show up exactly as you are.I know that showing up to therapy means being very vulnerable. I am here to let you know that you don’t have to be fixed to be worthy of care. You don’t have to have it all figured out to get started. Bring your questions, your contradictions, your hard stuff, and your sense of humor if you have one. We’ll make room for all of it—and figure out the next steps together.
