Great to meet you!

I'm Tarah, a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping others navigate life's twists and turns. As an LPC, I've had the privilege of working with individuals, couples and families from diverse backgrounds and faith perspectives. With 10 years of experience in the field, I've honed my skills in addressing a range of challenges, including, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships and life transitions. My educational background includes a master's degree in counseling psychology from Dallas Baptist University as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas, and I've continued to pursue ongoing training and certification in trauma-informed care, EMDR and navigating complex trauma.

What sets me apart is my ability to meet clients where they are, whether that's in a place of faith, uncertainty, or exploration. I'm not here to judge or dictate a specific path – my goal is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and a healthy dose of humor along the way.

When I'm not in session, you can find me at the baseball fields cheering and helping out. I'm excited to connect with you and explore how we can work together to achieve your goals."

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, humor, and a commitment to helping clients find their own path forward.

What you can expect from me

As we work together, you can expect to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your strengths, and your challenges. Through our sessions, you'll develop practical tools and strategies to manage stress, build resilience, and cultivate meaningful relationships. You'll leave each session feeling heard, validated, and empowered to take small steps towards big changes. Together, we'll tackle tough topics with compassion and humor, and you'll walk away with a renewed sense of hope, clarity, and direction. My goal is for you to feel more confident, self-aware, and equipped to navigate life's ups and downs with greater ease and purpose.
