Great to meet you!

I’m Tara Petty, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) and MBA with over a decade of experience across healthcare, mental health, and community-based settings. I’m the founder of Bee Well Solutions, where I support women navigating life transitions, motherhood, burnout, anxiety, depression, grief, and the emotional weight of holding everything together.

My background includes hospital-based care, palliative care, and working with individuals and families through complex medical and emotional experiences. That means I don’t just understand mental health in theory, I understand how it shows up in real life, in your body, your relationships, your responsibilities, and your day-to-day functioning.

I specialize in working with women, especially mothers, who are used to showing up for everyone else but are now realizing something has to shift. My work is rooted in helping you reconnect with yourself while still honoring the life you’ve built.

My approach to therapy

My approach is honest, structured, and grounded in real change not just talking. I use evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), combined with person-centered, solution-focused, and holistic approaches that consider both your mental and physical health.

I help you identify patterns, challenge unhelpful thinking, regulate your emotions, and build habits that actually support your life. I’m not the therapist who just listens and nods you can expect me to be engaged, to ask the hard questions, and to guide you toward clarity and action.

At the same time, I create a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental. You don’t have to filter yourself here. My goal is to help you build self-awareness, confidence, and the ability to navigate life without feeling constantly overwhelmed or stuck.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about understanding your story, what you’ve been carrying, and what feels most important right now. I’ll ask intentional questions to get a clear picture of your experiences, your current challenges, and what you’re hoping for even if you’re not fully sure yet.

This space is both supportive and structured. We won’t rush to fix anything that doesn’t need fixing. Instead, we’ll begin identifying what needs to be processed, what needs to be supported, and where there may be room for growth or change if that’s appropriate for you.

By the end of the session, you can expect to feel heard, understood, and more grounded in your next steps whether that’s moving forward, slowing down, or simply having a space to finally breathe and process.
