Great to meet you!

I began my career as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Hypnotherapist later in life, and I have great passion for the work I do. I have 10+ years of experience as a therapist for children, teens, and adults of all ages. In addition to supporting individuals, couples, and all types of families, I have a strong background in trauma and working with at-risk populations.

My approach to therapy

My style is person-centered, and I use an integrative approach, pulling from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused interventions. My work is rooted in positive psychology, and my role is to help you embrace what you do well while planning for any change you want to make. You are the expert on you, and my role is to be your guide through this journey of self-discovery.

What you can expect from me

After our first session, you will feel both heard and understood. We will collaborate on the type of experience you are looking for in therapy, as well as any changes you are contemplating, and any goals you would like to set for yourself. We will focus on esteem- and confidence-building, and my goal for every session will be for you to come away feeling empowered.
