I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor. I primarily work with teens and women across the life span who would like to incorporate their faith in their healing journey. We live in a fallen world, and God does not promise that we will not have trouble through the seasons of life. However, He does promise to be with us through these storms, and he offers His peace through it all.
God's Word has so much to say about how we can cope with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, anger, or how to handle tough life adjustments/transitions. I combine my mental health training, to help you understand your symptoms, with God's Word, to help you receive hope and healing from the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
Life can be difficult, and we were not created to do life alone. During sessions, I meet you where you are in your faith journey, and can incorporate spiritual disciplines as you are comfortable such as Bible reading and prayer. We set goals together for what you would like to work on. At the end of each session, you leave with actions to take during the week to help you with your healing journey.
