Hi, I’m Tariq Mehmood, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and a foreign-trained physician with over 10 years of experience in both medical and mental health care. My background as a physician and psychiatric provider helps me approach care in a holistic, patient-centered way—treating both the mind and body together.
I specialize in supporting adults dealing with:

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Purdue Global University (GPA 3.99) and passed my ANCC PMHNP certification on the first attempt. I’m licensed in Texas as an APRN and hold an active DEA license. I hold an MBBS degree from Rawalpindi Medical College (RMC), Pakistan, where I completed my medical training.
I speak English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi, and I strive to provide culturally sensitive care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
