Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based in Northampton, MA, with eight years of experience and a deep commitment to meeting people where they are. I work with clients across the lifespan. From children to elders, and I'm proudly affirming of LGBTQ+ identities and experienced in working with Black and African American communities. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, ADHD, grief, or questions of racial identity, I bring both professional grounding and genuine warmth to the work. I'm an eclectic therapist, which means I draw on a wide range of tools to fit you, not the other way around.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on what you're working through, I might draw on CBT to help shift unhelpful thought patterns, DBT to build skills for managing intense emotions, or psychodynamic work to explore how your past is shaping your present. I also weave in mindfulness, narrative therapy, and expressive arts, because healing doesn't always happen through talking alone. Throughout all of it, my orientation is humanistic and person-centered: you're the expert on your own life, and our work together will be shaped by what matters most to you.

What you can expect from me

First sessions can feel like a lot. You're meeting someone new and trying to figure out if they're the right fit, all while sharing things that might feel tender or complicated. I want to take that pressure off. We'll use our first time together to get to know each other, talk about what's brought you in, and start to build a sense of what working together could look like. There's no script, no checklist. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation beforehand if you want to get a feel for things before we even begin.
