Great to meet you!

I am an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a strong background in diagnosing and treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and co-occurring conditions. My expertise encompasses psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, and integrated behavioral health models. I utilize data-driven strategies aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, reducing hospital readmissions, and ensuring continuity of care.

I am dedicated to promoting mental health equity and accessibility through innovative care delivery methods. I have the privilege of significantly contributing to improved access to mental healthcare by merging advanced clinical expertise with a holistic, person-centered nursing approach that emphasizes emotional well-being, recovery, and resilience.

I provide comprehensive treatment for individuals facing psychiatric disorders, substance use challenges, and concurrent mental health needs. I specialize in delivering psychotherapy, medication management, crisis intervention, and integrated behavioral health services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

My commitment to my career as a PMHNP is driven by a genuine desire to create meaningful change in the lives of others and help them achieve healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

My approach to therapy

I employ a patient-centered care strategy that prioritizes the individual patient's requirements, values, preferences, and goals, ensuring that patients are active participants in their own care. I combine physical, emotional, and social dimensions of health, cultivate trust, and enhance both patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

What you can expect from me

On the initial day of our interaction with the patient, I will cultivate rapport through active listening, validate emotions, and demonstrate authentic concern to develop trust. The patient will fill out documents either online or in person, encompassing past medical information, present symptoms, and consent documentation. I shall examine historical health. We will review all pertinent histories and complete examinations prior to formulating the plan.I will promote inquiries and collaborative decision-making to empower them.
