Great to meet you!

Dr. Taryne Knott, LCSW, specializes in helping children, teens, and young adults heal from trauma and the lasting effects it can have on emotions, relationships, and daily life. She has a particular focus on intergenerational trauma, working with clients and families to break patterns that often feel overwhelming or hard to change.

My approach to therapy

She integrates Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and somatic-based techniques to address both the mind and body’s response to stress and trauma. When working with children, she also partners closely with parents to support progress beyond the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to focus on identifying what they need and want from therapy what feels most important, what’s been challenging, and what they hope will change. It’s a collaborative conversation where you can share at your own pace, ask questions, and begin shaping a clear direction for your work together. From there, we start outlining goals and what support will feel most helpful moving forward.
