Great to meet you!

I bring over two decades of experience in healthcare, with a strong foundation in both medical and mental health settings. I graduated from New York University (NYU) and began my career working in psychiatric hospitals, where I spent 19 years in various roles including case management and social work. This early work shaped my passion for mental health and provided me with deep insight into the diverse challenges individuals face.

Before becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I practiced as a Labor and Delivery nurse for 10 years and as a Psychiatric nurse for 3 years. These experiences gave me a unique perspective on the connection between physical and emotional well-being, and they continue to influence my holistic approach to care.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my goal is to provide thoughtful, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment tailored to each client’s needs. I value open communication and collaboration, and I strive to create a safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported on their journey toward healing

My approach to therapy

I believe that every person’s story matters, and my approach is centered on listening first. I provide care that is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized, making sure clients feel heard and supported. I integrate evidence-based treatments with a holistic perspective, considering not just symptoms, but the whole person, their experiences, values, and goals.

I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their challenges. Together, we will build a treatment plan that fits your unique needs and promotes long-term wellness. My style is warm yet practical. I combine professional expertise with genuine human connection so that you feel comfortable and empowered throughout your journey.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll start by discussing your history, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I’ll ask questions to better understand your mental health, medical background, and life experiences, but there’s no pressure, you can share only what feels comfortable.

Together, we’ll begin to identify your goals and outline a plan that works for you. This may include discussing treatment options such as therapy, lifestyle changes, or medication management if appropriate.

Most importantly, the first session is a chance for you to see how it feels to work with me. My priority is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you feel respected and heard from the very beginning.
