My primary approach is narrative and relational therapy. I believe our experiences, relationships, culture, and the stories shape how we see the world and ourselves. Together, we can explore those stories, make space for different perspectives, and identify the strengths and experiences that can help you move toward the life you want.
I also draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based approaches. Therapy should not feel like a one-size-fits-all experience, I work collaboratively with each client to find what feels useful and meaningful for them.
My background includes working with Indigenous populations, which has deepened my understanding of the ways culture, identity, family, community, and lived experiences can influence our mental health and our sense of self. I recognize that navigating identity and cultural expectations can sometimes bring unique challenges, and I strive to create a space where those experiences can be explored openly and without judgment.
