Great to meet you!

I am a Walden University graduate and licensed mental health counselor with 5 years of experience in residential, outpatient, and private practice settings. I assist clients with substance use challenges, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), I empower clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My goal is for you to leave each session with greater clarity, a sense of accomplishment, and actionable steps to continue your progress between sessions. I also believe therapy should be a space where we can balance the seriousness of the work with moments of lightness and even humor, so it feels like a place where you can truly be yourself. If journaling or creative reflection resonates with you, I may encourage you to use art, writing, or music as additional tools for growth.

What you can expect from our first session

My clients can expect to walk away from our sessions feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools and strategies tailored to their unique challenges and goals. My approach is collaborative, meaning we'll work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe and nonjudgmental space.
