Great to meet you!
Welcome! I am Tasha Willens, LPC, a licensed professional counselor.
Are you feeling stuck in intrusive thoughts, overwhelmed during the perinatal season, or navigating the unique stressors of military life? You don’t have to do it alone. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and grounded in meeting you exactly where you are.
I specialize in working with individuals experiencing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and challenges related to military life. As both a United States Air Force veteran and a military spouse, I understand firsthand the transitions, uncertainties, and resilience that come with service life. Whether you are a veteran, spouse, or military child, I offer a space where your experiences are understood and respected.
My approach is compassionate, practical, and tailored to your unique goals. Together, we’ll work to help you gain tools to manage anxiety, navigate life transitions, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Troy University. I served in the Air Force from 2013–2017 as a Security Forces member, and that experience continues to inform the way I show up for clients — with empathy, integrity, and deep respect.
Originally from Wisconsin and now calling Virginia home, I’m also a wife and proud mother of two. My favorite title is “Mom.” When I’m not in session, you’ll likely find me with a cup of coffee, on a walk, or spending time with family and friends.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
