Great to meet you!

Welcome to SAFE Landing, PLLC! I'm so glad you're here and taking the important step toward seeking the support you need and deserve.

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, executive functioning challenges, mood disorders, personality disorders, and family or relationship difficulties.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2011 and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University–Belleville in 2016. Since completing my graduate training, I have become independently licensed to practice counseling in both Illinois and Texas.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in creating a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful and lasting changes. I recognize that no two individuals are alike, which is why I take a person-centered, integrative approach to treatment. By drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, I tailor each session to meet the unique needs, strengths, and goals of every client.

I believe that effective therapy begins with a strong therapeutic relationship. My priority is to meet clients exactly where they are in their journey, honoring their experiences while collaboratively helping them develop the insight, skills, and confidence needed to navigate life's challenges and create lasting personal growth.

What you can expect from me

My priority is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, respected, and understood from the very beginning. Nonetheless, during your first session you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where you are encouraged to show up as your authentic self.

Our initial session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your personal history, identify your current concerns, and talk about your goals for treatment. I also welcome any questions you may have about the therapeutic process so that you feel informed and comfortable moving forward. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you while moving toward the life you envision for yourself.
