Tashea Walker

I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin and my master's in education from the Universtiy of Houston-Victoria where I focused on clinical and mental health counseling. In my 4 years experience, I have supported adolescents and their families in addressing issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, parental struggles, lgbtq+ issues, and career exploration. Most recently, I've began working with adults to manage their anxiety and depression.

I would like to think of my foundational theoretical orientation as solution focused but I include other therapies to meet clients where they are. I am integrative due to my usage of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy , Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and techniques from other theories.
