Great to meet you!
Welcome, and thank you for stopping by! My name is Tatyana Jackson, I am from Brooklyn, NY and identify as an African American female, pronouns she/her. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from UNC-Greensboro and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of San Diego in May of 2020. I have been practicing my clinical skills for four years, serving children, teens, adults, and the geriatric community. My primary focus is on depression, anxiety, anger management, and practicing effective coping strategies to manage emotional distress. As an active advocate for mental wellness, I aim to improve emotional functioning by reducing daily life stressors often related to, life transitions, work, and relationships. Through my eclectic approaches, I aim to challenge my clients while being cognizant of their needs and emotional state. Of course, this is an inclusive, non-judgmental, safe space for anyone seeking clinical support, and I am happy to assist!
