Great to meet you!

I am a licensed cognitive-behavioral therapist with over 20 years of experience, practicing in Texas and Indiana. I specialize in trauma, sexual abuse prevention, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. Also, I can incorporate a Bible-based perspective on mental health for those who desire it.

I am passionate about supporting adults 18 and older, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community.

My approach to therapy

I focus on how your thoughts shape your emotions and behaviors. When a trigger or event occurs, it leads to specific thoughts, which in turn create emotions and drive actions.

In therapy, we’ll explore both healthy and unhealthy thoughts. Healthy thoughts can be a strong foundation, and you can learn to apply them across different areas of your life. Together, we’ll identify and challenge unhealthy thoughts in sessions, with homework and exercises to reinforce this work between appointments.

What you can expect from me

You will gain tools and strategies to navigate challenges, along with a deeper understanding of how your thoughts and emotions influence your behaviors. You will develop practical steps to achieve your goals.

You’ll also learn to challenge unhealthy thought patterns, build resilience, and strengthen your relationships with yourself and others. Most importantly, you’ll uncover your strengths and create meaningful changes that align with the life you envision.
