Great to meet you!

My approach with clients is warm, supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe and comfortable space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe in building genuine therapeutic relationships rooted in trust, empathy, and collaboration.

I work to meet each client where they are while helping them develop practical coping skills, emotional insight, confidence, and resilience. Clients often describe my style as approachable, encouraging, patient, and easy to talk to. I balance empathy with honesty and guidance, helping clients feel supported while also empowering them to make meaningful progress toward their goals.

With a background in mental health, education, and behavioral support, I take an individualized and strengths-based approach to therapy, recognizing that every client’s experiences and needs are unique.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, supportive, and client-centered approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable being open and honest without fear of judgment. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and empowering, helping clients gain insight, develop practical coping strategies, and build confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.

My therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, approachable, and solution-focused. I work to meet clients where they are emotionally while encouraging growth, self-awareness, and meaningful progress toward their personal goals. I understand that every individual’s experiences are unique, so I tailor treatment approaches to fit each client’s specific needs, strengths, and circumstances.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, behavioral concerns, and executive functioning difficulties. I also have extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and families through academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will discuss what brings the client to therapy, current challenges, personal strengths, relevant background information, and the goals they hope to achieve. I also take the time to answer questions about the therapy process and ensure clients feel informed and supported as they move forward.

Together, we will begin identifying areas for growth and developing realistic, individualized goals that may include improving emotional wellness, managing stress or anxiety, building coping skills, increasing confidence, strengthening relationships, improving emotional regulation, or creating healthier daily routines and thought patterns.

Clients can expect an empathetic and solution-focused approach that balances emotional support with practical strategies they can begin applying in everyday life. My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling heard, understood, supported, and empowered with tools to help them make meaningful progress over time.
