Great to meet you!

Tayler Hilton, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with nine years of experience supporting individuals and families impacted by anxiety, depression, relational challenges, adolescent concerns, and systemic oppression. Her work is deeply informed by her background in the child welfare system, including foster care, juvenile justice, and preventative services.

Tayler offers a warm, relational space where clients can process life’s hardships while also building practical, spirit-led strategies for growth. She specializes in family systems and restoration work, helping youth and adults alike recognize patterns, heal from trauma, and move forward with clarity.

Whether through Christian counseling or a more traditional therapeutic lens, Tayler is committed to helping each client find emotional, relational, and spiritual wholeness. She works with individuals (ages 11+), couples, and families, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and a Humanistic approach.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for each client’s unique story. I work from a holistic lens that considers not just individual experiences but also the relationships, systems, and beliefs that shape them. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy, while also integrating Christian counseling for those who desire faith to be a central part of their healing journey. Whether we’re exploring anxiety, depression, family dynamics, or navigating the effects of systemic oppression or child welfare involvement, my goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and equipped with practical tools to grow in emotional, relational, and spiritual health.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and non-judgmental space where we’ll begin building a foundation of trust and understanding. I take time to get to know who you are beyond the problem that brought you to therapy, your story, your strengths, your concerns, and your hopes for healing. We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, identify patterns or themes that may be surfacing, and talk through what you’d like to get out of our work together. Whether you come with faith as a central part of your life or prefer a more traditional therapeutic lens, I’ll meet you where you are with compassion and curiosity.
