I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly six years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. My background includes working in a school setting, where I developed a strong foundation helping young people manage emotional, behavioral, and social stressors. For the past five years, I have worked in a private practice and provided individual, family, couples, and court-mandated therapy, helping clients work through anxiety, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and personal growth.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative and empowering process. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and foster resilience so you can move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
My experience working with both children and adults allows me to understand the unique needs that arise across different stages of life. As a parent myself, I also bring a deep appreciation for the complexities of balancing personal wellbeing, relationships, and family responsibilities.
I am passionate about helping individuals and families recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and feel empowered in their lives. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply seeking support, I am here to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and growth.
My approach to therapy is strengths-based, collaborative, and empowering. I work with clients to identify and build upon their existing strengths while helping them reframe negative thought patterns that may be holding them back. I use a clear, direct, and supportive style of communication so we can work together to better understand challenges and develop practical, meaningful solutions. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood while also feeling actively supported in making progress.
In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable and supportive therapeutic relationship. You will have the opportunity to share your story, discuss what has brought you to therapy, and identify goals for what you would like to work toward. This is also a space for you to ask questions and ensure that therapy feels like the right fit for you.
I strive to create a positive and empowering environment from the very beginning. Together, we will identify small, meaningful goals or reflections you can work on between sessions so you feel prepared and encouraged as you move forward. My hope is that you leave each session—especially the first—feeling understood, empowered, and ready to take the next step in your growth and healing.
