Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Taylor Blunsen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW-S) based in Houston, Texas. I have a Masters in Social work from the University of Southern California and a BA in Psychology from St. Edward's University. In my experience as a Social Worker, I have seen clients in a variety of settings, including behavioral hospitals, schools, substance abuse treatment centers and private practice.

I specialize in working with teens and adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, and the stress that often comes with “adulting" and even parenting. As a mom myself, I understand the challenges of raising tiny humans while also balancing the rest of life's responsibilities. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can freely express yourself and feel truly seen and heard.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I’ll help you process your thoughts and emotions, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop healthy ways to cope with life’s challenges. I believe therapy should empower you to reconnect with your strengths and become the best version of yourself—on your own terms. While I tend to use alot of CBT work, we will work together to find the best tools based on your therapy goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on building a trusting relationship and identifying your goals for therapy. My approach is supportive and collaborative—I want to understand what’s most important to you and how I can best support you on this journey.
