Great to meet you!
Are you easily overwhelmed or overstimulated by things others seem to handle with ease? Do you question who you are or what you want in life? Do you often feel misunderstood? Are relationships a struggle? If these questions resonate, you’re in the right place! I support clients navigating these very same things, along with depression, low self-esteem, trauma manifestations (PTSD/C-PTSD), suicidal ideation, anger/emotion regulation difficulties, life transitions and faith-related challenges. I find a special connection with clients who identify as "highly sensitive" or HSPs - an innate temperament found in 15-30% of the population. Dr. Elaine Aron uses the acronym DOES to summarize the trait: Depth of Processing, Overstimulation, Emotional Responsiveness/Empathy, and Sensitivity to Subtleties/Sensory Stimuli. If you're curious if you might be an HSP, reach out for a free self-test!
About me: I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA (2021). Following grad school, I moved to Kansas City, MO, where I worked in community mental health as a crisis counselor and youth ATOD prevention specialist. I then found my passion working as a therapist in group private practice, serving individuals, couples, and families. In 2025, I moved to St. George, UT, where I continued in private practice and attained full licensure as a CMHC. In 2026, I joined Headway to widen my reach and offer accessible mental healthcare to more amazing individuals!
