Great to meet you!

I know starting therapy can feel awkward. Sharing your inner world with someone new takes courage — but it can also be the start of genuine growth and healing. My goal is to make that step easier by creating a space that feels safe, warm, and grounded in understanding.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in California, educated in Oregon, where my appreciation for nature, reflection, and connection began. I provide therapy for adults in California, helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, identity transitions, and life stress.

Over the years, I’ve worked in hospitals, rural community clinics, emergency departments, psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient psychotherapy, which has given me a deep respect for resilience and the many ways people adapt and heal.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates evidence-based treatments such as Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). Each session is tailored to your needs — sometimes exploring long-standing patterns from the past, other times focusing on the present moment and building practical coping skills.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and create a space that feels comfortable and genuine. I’ll invite you to share what’s been feeling difficult and what’s still going well, so we can understand both the challenges and the strengths you bring. Together, we’ll start clarifying what’s going wrong, what’s going right, and what you hope will change. Some people come wanting relief from specific symptoms, while others seek deeper self-understanding — I’m open to both and will meet you wherever you are in your process.
