Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Taylor, a licensed professional clinical counselor and the founder of Kind Mind Counseling and Wellness. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, low self-worth, people-pleasing, and relationship challenges. I use a collaborative, person-centered approach while integrating evidence-based practices to support meaningful growth and self-understanding. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel safe to be yourself, build self-trust, and move toward the life you want. I earned my graduate training in counseling and have experience helping clients develop healthier patterns and stronger emotional awareness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and centered around creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. I integrate person-centered therapy with evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT and IFS to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building practical tools for change. I often work with clients who struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, and self-worth, and I focus on helping you develop self-trust, healthier boundaries, and a stronger sense of identity. Together, we move at a pace that feels comfortable while working toward meaningful and lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive space where we begin getting to know each other and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your current concerns, background, and goals, and you’re always encouraged to share at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll start to identify what you’d like to work on and outline initial goals that feel meaningful and achievable. My aim is to create a calm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take the next step in your growth.
