Great to meet you!

I attended Illinois College for a bachelor's degree in psychology, WIU for a bachelor's degree in social work, and Aurora University for a master's in social work. I obtained my LCSW (licensed clinical social worker) in 2025. I have worked as a therapist for more than 6 years. It's my passion and the work that I see myself doing for the rest of my life. I currently reside in Rushville, IL, where I was raised. I'm married and have a dog. I enjoy connecting with friends over video games in my free time.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client centered. I prioritize communicating with clients on their level and with learning styles that make sense to them. This may include, but isn't limited to, verbal discussion, a whiteboard for visual learners, or games/play for hands on learners. I ensure that your therapeutic experience is tailored to your needs. My clients are the experts of their own experiences and what we discuss will always be their decision.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, a client can expect to complete the necessary intake paperwork. This is required for us to move forward together, but also it helps us build a professional relationship. It helps me to learn about your life and create a treatment plan so I know what you'd like the focus of your sessions to be. It helps a you get to know my therapy approach and if it will be a good fit for you.
