I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and received a masters in mental health counseling and substance abuse counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have 3+ years experience working with a variety of settings and client populations such as; inpatient substance abuse clients, outpatient services, and severe mental health. I strive to help adults that are struggling become the best version of themselves while dealing with everyday life stresses.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients identify negative thoughts they may have and how that’s impacting their life. Educating clients on coping skills to help with negative thinking patterns that are leading to negative behaviors.
Strength-Based
I am a firm believer we all have different strengths that can help us cope with life. Strength based with a sprinkle of solution focused therapy to help clients reach their desired outcome in therapy.
I like to work collaboratively with my clients on creating some initial goals so we both know what we are working towards.
