Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I hold a master's degree in Christian Counseling. I have experience working as a minster in a college ministry setting and a grief counselor with a non-profit hospice. I am comfortable counseling individuals and couples who have lost loved ones. I also have experience helping couples prepare for marriage and working through conflict in marriage.

My approach to therapy

My aim is to empower clients toward ownership over their own life. I help clients identify challenges to their own happiness. If there are changes in mindset or emotional expression that can be made which leads to peace, I help clients with that as well.

What you can expect from me

A common goal in counseling is to come to an awareness of how current choices are affecting the happiness of clients. When it comes to marriage counseling, I often seek to help clients identify patterns of communication that are unproductive and swap those patterns for something that encourages a sense of understanding and connection. My goal is to assist individuals and couples rather than direct them. In counseling with me, clients will remain in charge of their own life.
