Great to meet you!

Being a teenager can be overwhelming. School pressure, friendships, family expectations, anxiety, ADHD, and figuring out who you are can all pile up quickly. With a background in school counseling, I understand how academic, social, and emotional challenges often overlap. I work with teens to create a space where they can feel heard without judgment, better understand what they’re experiencing, and build confidence and practical skills for navigating everyday life.

My approach to therapy

Sessions with me feel more like real conversations than a clinical evaluation. I use CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, and solution-focused strategies to help teens manage anxiety, understand their emotions, work through school and social stress, and build practical coping skills. I meet teens where they are and move at their pace while creating a space where they can be themselves. Therapy doesn’t have to feel like another adult telling you what to do, we work together to figure out what actually helps.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting comfortable and understanding what brought you in. You don’t need to have the right words, know exactly what’s wrong, or be excited about starting therapy. I’ll ask questions, explain how I work, and we’ll talk about what you’d like to be different. From there, we’ll work together on goals that actually matter to you. My goal is for therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest, feel understood, and leave with tools that are useful in real life.
