Great to meet you!

My name is Taylor Gibson and I practice mental health counseling in Alabama. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with experience in treatment of substance dependence, eating disorders, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I work with adults from diverse backgrounds seeking to address challenges associated with life transitions, self-esteem, and relational issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a therapist, I aim to provide a space in which you feel understood and met without judgement using a person-centered, compassion-focused approach in my practice - promoting connection, healing and your capacity for living wholly.

What you can expect from our first session

My role in your process is to listen with curiosity, sit with you in discomfort and hope as you explore your stories, and celebrate with you as you accomplish goals and overcome life's obstacles. Reach out to learn more about the therapeutic process and see if I might be a good fit for you!
