Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who welcomes clients ages 14 and older. I am a mother and retired Army veteran who served in military intelligence as a Chinese Cryptologic Linguist.

My work as a forensic interviewer for children who experienced abuse and neglect strengthened my ability to sit with difficult stories and provide safe, trauma-informed care. My lived experiences with trauma, abuse, and autoimmune illness have also shaped my understanding of the mind-body connection.

My approach to therapy

I use a person-centered approach because you are the expert of you; Nobody knows you better than yourself. My own experiences with mental health allow me to better understand the difficulties you are experiencing. Most importantly, I provide a safe, judgment free space to explore your thoughts and feelings and guide you to an improved quality of life.

What you can expect from me

I am warm, direct, and collaborative, and I value authenticity over formality. I believe meaningful therapy grows through genuine connection, honesty, trust, thoughtful challenges, and sometimes well-timed sarcasm or dark humor.
