Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist dedicated to creating a safe, affirming, and supportive space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. My professional background includes working in community mental health, hospital-based treatment programs, school based mental health, crisis response, and family support services with adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation, parenting challenges, relationship issues, crisis support, and LGBTQ+ affirming care. I also integrate mindfulness, restorative practices, and resilience-focused approaches into treatment to support healing and personal growth. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, connected, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, empathetic, and client-centered. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, validated, and accepted without judgment, so I work to create an environment built on trust and authenticity. I use trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s unique experiences and goals. Depending on a client’s needs, I may incorporate mindfulness, coping skills development, emotional regulation strategies, restorative practices, and strengths-based interventions. I view therapy as a partnership where we work together to build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where they can share at their own pace. We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring your current challenges, strengths, and goals, and identifying what support would feel most helpful to you. My priority is helping clients feel comfortable, understood, and emotionally safe while beginning to build a strong therapeutic connection. Together, we will create a personalized plan that supports healing, growth, and practical progress toward the changes you hope to make.
