Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, chemical dependency treatment, correctional settings, and alternative education programs. I am passionate about working with individuals who feel misunderstood, overlooked, or judged, and I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can be themselves. My clinical interests include high-risk behaviors, challenging thought patterns, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and personality disorders.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is centered on meeting clients where they are, building on their strengths, and helping them create meaningful and lasting change. I use a collaborative, nonjudgmental style that encourages self-awareness, growth, and practical skill development. Drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I emphasize mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to help clients navigate life's challenges more effectively. I also focus on helping clients find balance—acknowledging both their strengths and the areas they want to improve—while fostering greater acceptance, resilience, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can share their concerns at their own pace. During the first session, I focus on getting to know the client, understanding what has brought them to therapy, and exploring what they hope to gain from the therapeutic process. Together, we identify potential goals while honoring where they are currently in their journey. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, so we will work together to develop a plan that aligns with their needs, strengths, and readiness for change.
