Great to meet you!

I earned my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I tailor each session to each individuals specific needs; everyone is unique and requires specific styles of therapy that works best for them. I think that the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy. Therefore, I am very intentional when speaking to my clients, and ensure that I am present when listening to their concerns and lived experiences.

My approach to therapy

I usually approach therapy through Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and interventions, but sometimes other techniques need to be used; not limited to ACT & CBT.

I work with Anxiety, Substance Misuse, Harm Reduction, ADHD/ADD, Grief, & Adverse Childhood Experiences.

What you can expect from me

I hope that each person I work with can take away a new level of awareness of themselves after each session. My goal is to set up a safe space, and hold space for everyone to process experiences they have/had; while offering coping skills and information that can assist in reducing presenting symptoms and creating more satisfaction in specific ares of their lives.
