Hi, I’m Taylor, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. I have been seeing clients for three years and recently earned my independent license. I specialize in working with anxiety, perfectionism, grief, loss, and infertility. I am EMDR trained to support clients working through difficult or traumatic experiences and I also offer comprehensive ADHD evaluations.
My approach to therapy is warm, genuine, and collaborative, with a balance of professionalism and playfulness. I believe you know yourself best, and my role is to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, patterns, and relationships while developing tools that support meaningful change. I’ll offer empathy and compassion while also gently challenging you to step outside your comfort zone, ask deeper questions, and grow in ways that feel right for you. My goal is to create a space where you can be fully yourself while feeling supported, understood, and empowered to move forward.
Your first session is a chance to slow down, get comfortable, and begin getting to know one another in a warm and welcoming environment. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to get out of our work together, and what you can expect from me as your therapist. We’ll also discuss your goals and begin exploring what feels most important for you right now. Most importantly, there’s no pressure to have everything figured out—I’ll meet you where you are and we’ll take it from there.
