Great to meet you!

My name is Taylor and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as Bachelor of Psychology from Valdosta State University. I believe that reaching out for counseling is a meaningful step, and I strive to make that step feel as comfortable and welcoming as possible! My goal is to meet each person where they are and walk alongside them as they work toward growth and positive change. Above all, I am passionate about helping others recognize their strengths, navigate life’s challenges, and create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling. I consider it an honor to be invited into my clients’ lives, and I am excited to have the opportunity to serve those in need.

What you can expect from me

I prefer to use the first therapy session as an opportunity to create a warm, welcoming, and comfortable space where you feel at ease. During our first meeting, we will go over the basics of therapy, discuss what you can expect throughout the process, and begin getting to know one another.

We will complete an intake assessment, which allows me to learn more about your background, current concerns, what brings you to counseling, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I will also take time to explain my therapeutic approach and give you the opportunity to ask any questions or share any concerns you may have.

My goal is to meet you where you are and create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you navigate challenges, recognize your strengths, and work toward the goals that are meaningful to you. You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. We will take it one step at a time, together.
