Taylor Parker

Since graduating from Sam Houston State University with my Masters of Art in Clinical Mental Health counseling, I have worked in a variety of settings, such as schools, private practice, and clinics. This gives me a variety of experiences to relate to your individual situation. I also have an Associates Degree in Christian Ministries and Biblical Studies, and training in various modalities such as Sand Tray Therapy, Play Therapy, EMDR, Career Counseling, and Trauma Informed care.

My approach in counseling is Holistic focusing on the interconnectedness of your mind, soul, body, and spirit. I believe in the power of processing to gain insight and the functionality of coping skills for life application. With Person -Centered aspects incorporated in each session, it is important to establish trust and a strong Therapeutic relationship to facilitate the healing journey.

I am able to offer many different ways to help you on your healing journey and to reach your personal goals, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Counseling is a calling that I find great pleasure in fulfilling. I am here so that through sessions and time, you will take away solutions, coping skills, a new mindset, and healing.
