Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major life transition, or struggling to feel like yourself, you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I work with individuals and families experiencing stress, anxiety, chronic illness or pain, and the challenges that can come with life’s many transitions. I have a special passion for perinatal mental health and supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. As both a therapist and a mom, I understand how complex and transformative this season of life can be, and I value creating spaces where parents feel understood and supported.

I believe we all have inherent strengths and resilience, even when they’re difficult to see in ourselves. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own experience. My goal is to help you feel heard, build on your existing strengths, and find a path toward meaningful change that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence one another and develop practical strategies for navigating challenges. I also incorporate Motivational Interviewing to explore ambivalence, strengthen motivation, and help clients identify their own reasons for change. I tailor these approaches to each person’s unique needs and goals, creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope to get out of our time together. I’ll ask questions to better understand you and your unique experiences, and there will be plenty of space for you to ask questions, too. My approach is laid-back and collaborative, so there’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with or to have everything figured out before we meet. The first session is simply a starting point, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
