I am board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in adolescent and young adult psychiatry. I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing degree from Nova Southeastern University with specialized training in psychiatry. For the last five year I have held various leadership positions for a local residential treatment center for teens that specializes in complex trauma treatment.
I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to psychiatry. I am patient and family centered, and I create treatment plans that are based on the individual needs and preferences of the patient and family. I enjoy offering an integrative psychiatry approach including psychiatric medications, genetic testing, lab testing for vitamin deficiencies, supplement recommendations, and lifestyle coaching on nutrition, exercise and sleep.
Your initial psychiatric evaluation is a 60-minute telehealth visit focused on understanding you and your concerns. We’ll review your symptoms, mental health and medical history, current stressors, and past treatment experiences. You’ll have time to ask questions and share your goals for care.
Together, we’ll discuss diagnostic considerations and create an individualized treatment plan, which may include prescribing medications and testing recommendations when appropriate. This visit is collaborative, judgment-free, and designed to help you leave with clarity and a clear path forward.
