Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's transitions and most challenging moments. My practice specializes in anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and ADHD, providing a safe and supportive space for clients of all backgrounds and identities. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, you get to choose your own path, take the side quests that matter to you, and define what healing and growth actually look like for you. My approach is collaborative and client-led, meaning we set goals together, move at your pace, and tailor each session to what feels most relevant and helpful. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for something to shift, I'm here to help you find clarity and cultivate the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that every person carries inherent strengths, and my job is to help you recognize and build on what's already working in your life. I work with individuals ages 13 and up. I'm committed to creating a space that is affirming, inclusive, and genuinely welcoming to all identities and experiences. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while weaving in mindfulness-based practices to support present-moment awareness and emotional regulation. A big part of the work we do together is moving from reactive to intentional, learning to pause, reflect, and make choices that are aligned with the life you actually want to cultivate, rather than simply responding to whatever life throws at you. Therapy, in my view, is not about fixing what's broken, it's about helping you step into the role of author of your own story, proactively designing a life that feels meaningful, grounded, and truly yours.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really just a conversation, and while I do gather some information to better understand you and your story, there's no pressure to have all the answers, and no expectation to dive into anything you're not ready for. We'll spend our time getting to know each other, exploring what brought you here, and beginning to get a sense of what you're hoping for, even if you aren’t completely sure where you’ll end up. I want you to leave feeling heard, not evaluated. Think of it less like an intake appointment and more like the beginning of a collaboration, where we're both figuring out the map together and you get to decide the route we take. My goal for that first session is simply that you feel comfortable enough to come back.
