Great to meet you!

My name is Tayo Maduagwu, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC. I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adults navigating life’s emotional and mental health challenges. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your healing journey.

I have experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, stress-related concerns, and other emotional challenges. I also have a special interest in postpartum mental health and supporting women experiencing postpartum depression, anxiety, mood changes, birth trauma, and the emotional transitions that can come with motherhood. I am passionate about helping mothers feel supported, understood, and emotionally well during this important stage of life.

My approach combines medication management, brief supportive psychotherapy, and lifestyle-focused strategies to care for the whole person—mind and body. I believe in collaboration, transparency, and individualized treatment, and I work closely with each client to develop a plan tailored to their unique needs and goals.

Above all, I want my clients to feel safe, valued, and never rushed in care. You deserve compassion, clarity, and support, and I am committed to walking alongside you toward healing, balance, and renewed hope.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, patient-centered, and collaborative. I take the time to truly listen and understand what you’re experiencing, so you feel supported and never rushed. Together, we explore your symptoms, your goals, and what wellness means to you.

No matter where you are in your journey, we will work together with clarity, empathy, and hope.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, calm, and welcoming space where you are truly heard. I take time to understand your story, your symptoms, and what you hope to improve.

We’ll discuss your current challenges and work together to identify goals. I will explain everything clearly, from diagnosis to treatment options, and next steps, so you leave feeling supported, informed, and more hopeful about your path forward.
