Great to meet you!

Téa offers supportive therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples navigating a variety of challenges, including anxiety and depression, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and trauma.

Téa is a warm and compassionate therapist committed to supporting individuals and couples as they heal and grow. Téa takes the time to earn your trust, understanding that unique life experiences shape your strengths and vulnerabilities. Her clinical background as a grief counselor and prior experience working in memory care helped to cultivate Téa’s empathic and nurturing therapeutic presence.

Téa is licensed (LMFT #162539) with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Outside of the office, Téa enjoys curling up with a good book and cup of tea. She loves dogs and values quality time with friends and family. Golden hour is her favorite time of day and singing along to Taylor Swift makes her happy.

My approach to therapy

Téa’s approach is holistic, relational, and trauma-informed, integrating client-centered principles with attachment science and psychodynamic theory. A thoughtful listener, she values her clients’ innate strengths and wisdom, and strives to create an environment of safety in which to best support them in meeting their goals and embodying their most authentic selves.

In addition to her Master’s level training, Téa has completed additional training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and grief counseling; she is currently in the process of completing a certificate program in Traumatic Stress Studies through the Trauma Research Foundation.

Téa will welcome you with kindness and ensure you are comfortable in your first session!
