Great to meet you!

A warm and caring therapist with a listening heart for a hurting soul. I work from a true holistic approach that seeks to address mind, body, and spirit. I believe in nurturing the soul as well as healing the mind. I have a special focus on workplace challenges and struggles. I have served as an EAP professional for over ten years with an understanding of workplace bullying (intimidation), relationships, invalidation, and change management.

I hold several conferred degrees in counseling at the Master's and PhD levels. I am a published professional and presenter, as well as a successful educator and mentor to other counseling and therapy professionals.

My approach to therapy

As a practitioner of over 20 years, I empower clients to be the experts on themselves to collaboratively work towards identified goals. I utilize my twenty-plus years as an educator to facilitate insight, knowledge, and wisdom. My approach is a well-organized, integrated approach consisting of elements of CBT, Mindfulness, Adlerian, and Narrative.

What you can expect from me

During your first session with me, I seek to spend time with you to get to know you and your goals. I focus on listening to help identify any underlying issues and bring them to awareness. I may also give you some homework that supports self-exploration.
