Great to meet you!

As I licensed professional counselor, I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is central to helping the client create positive change in their life - and I'm glad you're taking this first step. I've been practicing therapy for 10 years, and I specialize in working with anxiety and PTSD.

My approach to therapy

I work from a person-centered lens, which means that I recognize that you are the expert in your life. I'll partner with you to explore your experiences, thoughts, and feelings, to start to work past your challenges. I use aspects of mindfulness and self-compassion, and I use evidence-based treatments like EMDR to you to resolve feelings and experiences that can make you feel stuck.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create an environment where you will feel safe and seen, and I work to ensure that you feel heard. We'll decide together what you want to work on in the early phase of treatment, and I check in regularly to make sure that we are moving in the direction that you want to go.
