Great to meet you!

When I was a young man I was helped by an intelligent, caring psychotherapist to gain self-knowledge and confidence in my abilities to meet life's challenges. I studied psychology, became interested in Gestalt Therapy, and worked as a psychiatric child care worker with 4 to 21 years olds. I recently returned to my original love of psychotherapy, trained in Gestalt Therapy, and became a licensed psychoanalyst. If we meet, I will walk with you on your journey and give you the best of my training.

My approach to therapy

I relate naturally in a warm and supportive way. I focus on the here and now and the relationship that forms between myself and my client. I look at how a client interrupts the flow of experience and experiment with ways to integrate our experience so authentic self-support emerges.

What you can expect from me

A person enters therapy because there is a challenge in their life that calls for new growth in personal self-awareness. When someone gains trust in their own ability to take the next steps in their life journey, then awareness of self has gained greater situational flexibility and response-ability.
