Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults through life’s most challenging transitions. My background spans mental health therapy, crisis intervention, trauma recovery, child welfare, and geriatric care, which allows me to work with clients from a holistic, compassionate, and well-rounded perspective.

I use a strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach, meeting each client where they are and honoring their unique experiences. My clinical work integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I work collaboratively with clients to set meaningful goals, build coping skills, and create sustainable change.

I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also bring a strong background in crisis support and safety planning, ensuring clients feel supported, grounded, and safe throughout the therapeutic process.

Above all, I strive to provide a warm, non-judgmental, and culturally responsive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced to your needs, with a focus on helping you reconnect with your strengths and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, heard, and respected, so I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship where you can show up as your authentic self.

I use a strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered framework, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. Together, we explore patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also developing practical coping tools you can use in everyday life.

I understand that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Sessions are paced to your comfort level and adjusted based on your goals, needs, and life experiences. Whether you are working through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and feel more empowered in your daily life.

Therapy with me is a supportive partnership—one that balances emotional exploration with skill-building, accountability, and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a welcoming, low-pressure space focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I’ll also ask questions to better understand how stress, emotions, and past experiences may be affecting you today.

During this session, we’ll review confidentiality, discuss how therapy works, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic to you. If helpful, I may introduce gentle coping or grounding strategies you can start using right away.

You do not need to have everything figured out before our first meeting. My role is to meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and help create a plan that feels supportive and aligned with your needs. Many clients leave the first session feeling heard, validated, and more hopeful about the path forward.
