Great to meet you!

I know that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make therapy a place where you and your child feel comfortable, heard, and accepted from the very beginning. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I've had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and families from many different backgrounds. I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and creating a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel safe to be themselves. I specialize in helping children navigate anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral challenges, and the effects of trauma, while partnering closely with caregivers because healing happens best when we're working together. I also believe that play is a child's language, and I enjoy using creativity, curiosity, and connection to help young people build confidence, resilience, and hope.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy helping children and adolescents work through anxiety, depression, emotional challenges, and the effects of trauma by meeting them where they are. I believe in caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and because play is a child's natural language, I often use creativity and play to help kids express themselves and grow. I also see caregivers as an important part of the process and love partnering with families to help children build confidence, resilience, and lasting skills.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and your child—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy, but also your strengths, goals, and what makes your family unique. I strive to create a warm, relaxed, and judgment-free environment where everyone feels comfortable asking questions and sharing at their own pace. Together, we'll talk about what you hope to gain from therapy, begin identifying goals, and create a plan that feels realistic and supportive. My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and confident that we're working together toward meaningful growth.
