Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Tele Wilson and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State. I am an immigrant woman from West Africa. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. I have special interest in working with individuals struggling to find meaning in life, have difficulty building positive relationships, battling with self-esteem issues and debilitating anxiety stemming from early childhood adversities and complex trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Together, we'll embark on a gentle and gradual journey, committed to integrity and transparency. Therapy will be a safe space to explore uncomfortable feelings, fostering understanding and learning to expand your window of tolerance. We will focus on your needs and goals as we develop a personalized treatment plan.

What you can expect from our first session

In therapy, we will gently dig into the root cause of the presenting issue using different modalities so you can foster a deeper understanding of your self, heal from past trauma and live the life you desire. I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) to tailor treatment to your needs.
