Great to meet you!

You're carrying something heavy -- anxiety that follows you into every room, grief that hasn't found its footing, the weight of motherhood, or the quiet exhaustion of trying to hold everything together. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, maternal mental health, and life transitions. My practice is rooted in culturally responsive care -- which means I meet you where you are, honor your background and lived experience, and build our work around what actually fits your life.

My approach to therapy

My work is guided by four words I return to again and again:

Acknowledge. Process. Reframe. Cultivate.

We start by acknowledging where you are, honestly and without judgment. We process what you've been through. We reframe the perspectives that are keeping you stuck. And we cultivate the habits, insights, and strategies that help you move forward. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, adapting each to your goals, your culture, and your pace -- not a template.

What you can expect from me

There's no script for how you're supposed to show up. I'll ask what brings you to counseling, what your life looks like right now, and what you hope to feel or do differently. By the end, we'll have a sense of your goals. My aim: you leave feeling heard, and the next step feels a little clearer.
