Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Tenesha Williams, M.Ed., LPC. I provide a supportive, judgment-free space where clients can feel heard, build confidence, and create lasting change. With over 15 years of experience in education and mental health, I work with teens, young adults, adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and behavioral concerns. Together, we'll develop practical strategies to help you overcome obstacles and move toward your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe every client has unique strengths, and together we'll build on those while developing practical tools to navigate life's challenges. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and strengths-based interventions. My work focuses on helping clients improve emotional regulation, manage anxiety and depression, strengthen communication, build healthy relationships, increase self-confidence, and develop coping skills they can use long after therapy ends.

Whether you're navigating a life transition, feeling overwhelmed, or working through past experiences, we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable while creating meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your current challenges, discuss your personal history, and identify what you'd like to accomplish.

Together, we'll begin creating a personalized treatment plan based on your goals and strengths. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, share any concerns, and discuss what you hope to gain from therapy. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clear understanding of the next steps in your journey.
