Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. My name is Teng Vang, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and connection.

I believe that every person has the capacity for growth and healing when provided with a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique experiences, goals, and strengths. Whether you are navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, life transitions, family conflict, or other personal challenges, I am committed to helping you develop the tools and insights needed to create meaningful and lasting change.

Seeking support is a courageous step, and I am honored to walk alongside my clients as they work toward healthier relationships, improved emotional well-being, and a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I integrate evidence-based practices—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy—to help clients overcome obstacles, build effective coping skills, and foster meaningful personal growth.

I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly heard and empowered. Together, we will work to increase self-awareness, improve emotional well-being, strengthen your relationships, and achieve the specific goals that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will focus on building a foundation of trust and understanding. My priority is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable openly exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I view therapy as a truly collaborative process; we will work together to identify your personal goals, recognize your existing strengths, and develop practical, actionable tools to help you navigate life’s challenges. My approach is compassionate and goal-oriented, designed to meet your unique needs while helping you gain clarity, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change.
